Mark Adams needs no introduction for most but for those who have not yet heard of him Mark is probably the most knowledgeable engine management guru for the Rover V8 there is. Mark has over 20 years experience purely with Rover V8 engines, over 6,000 cars mapped and thousands of hours of dedicated dynamometer work. Mark has comprehensive access to the software inside the Lucas systems, and the tools originally used to develop the engine.
Back in January 2008 Mark Adams wrote an article TVR Car Club magazine, Sprint. The article discusses the various minor modifications and upgrades that can improve the drivability and performance of the car.
Here is a copy of the article reproduced with the kind permission of the TVRCC and Sprint – Mark Adams New Tricks for Old Dog
I think the article is great as it focuses on how to get the best out of what you currently have with affordable incremental upgrades while retaining the originality of the car.
